Ford Transit Dropside Van Leasing
There is a Ford Transit Dropside model to suit most operating needs, with One-Stop dropside payloads ranging between 1 and 1.5 tonnes and body lengths from 2.85 metres to 4.05 metres.
The Transit dropside has a generous number of lashing points for load security. These are flush-mounted load-lashing rings to raves with roping eyes to the underside of raves. Twin grab handles and a pair of stirrup steps and afford easy access to the load bed. The load bed itself consists of a replaceable resin-bonded 15 mm ply load deck.
The dropside transit robust design includes a substantial all-steel powder-coated headboard; double skinned body colour aluminium side and tailboards with integral bump rubber; a robust, lightweight aluminium and steel subframe; and half round thermoplastic fenders.
The Ford Transit One-Stop Dropside is also extremely flexible, with removable side and tailboards, and removable rear corner pillars for carrying awkward loads in a flatbed configuration. Components will withstand heavy wear and tear. Should they need maintenance, however, components have been specially designed so that they can be easily repaired or replaced. All this is backed up by a 3-year 100,000-mile warranty.
Load lengths are as follows: 300S Single Cab Dropside - 2.85m; 350M Single Cab Dropside - 3.2m; 350L Single Cab Dropside - 3.65m; 350EF Single Cab Dropside - 4.05m; 350L Double Cab Dropside - 2.85m; 350EF Double Cab Dropside - 3.2m.
The double cab model has a triple crew seat and glazed rear doors as standard. An alternative 'utility cab' option can be specified, deleting the rear crew seat and replacing the glazed rear crew door with windowless doors.
