Van security isn't what it used to be, thank heavens. Immobilisers and decent-quality door locks are pretty much standard on all modern vans be it a Vauxhall Vivaro, Nissan Primastar or Mercedes Sprinter. The extra security of full-height bulkheads and solid (instead of glazed) rear doors are often offered as a no-cost option. However, if you carry goods likely to attract unwanted attention you may want to step up your van's security.
Door Slam Locks
Increase the security of your van with door slam locks which immediately lock the door every time the door is closed. The door must be opened again with a key. Useful for when you are in a hurry. Suitable for all types of van.
Central Locking - Per Door
Conventional central locking system that enables all doors to be locked simultaneously. This 'per door' central locking system is ideal for all types of van.
Loadlock
The loadlock is a strip of metal (per 3m) mounted to the floor and walls to enable the secure mounting of loads in transit. Ideal for all types of van.
Door Deadlocks
The door deadlock is an extra lock, usually a Yale lock, that is operated with a separate key. Please Note: These are not available for tailgate vans.
Kiltech Lockshield
The Kiltech Lockshield is armour plating which surrounds the door handles to stop the locks being pried open. This is an effective way of increasing the security of your van. Ideal for all types of van.
Fitting Security Devices
Fitting security to vehicles, especially high security locks and immobilisers is not a DIY job and we strongly recommend professional fitting.
