The Tipper models are available with single cab or double cab. Models of both cab styles are made from a specially-reinforced body structure that offers all-round passive protection.
Chassis can be supplied with either 1 way or 3 way tipping bodies enabling side ways as well as rear load tips.
Steel deck is strong and stiff, withstanding significant impacts from loads and abrasions. Smooth surface contains no external fixings or welds for improved load discharge. The entire assembly is dip painted for optimal corrosion resistance.
The body
Sub-frame
Bolt together assembly of aluminium longitudes and zinc plated cylindrical tube cross braces. The spare wheel is mounted in the sub-frame, behind the rear axle.
Lift Frame
The lift frame is made up of pressed steel longitudes and seven cross bearers. Two 75mm (3") diameter aluminium pivots are bolted at the rear end. The pivot bearings are synthetic and maintenance free for the life time of the vehicle.
Raves
Double skinned pressed steel, 127mm (5") deep with sheeting hooks fitted on inside faces. The raves are constructed to provide lashing points for standard 50mm (2") load straps, at any point along the deck’s length.
Lift Mechanism
Scissor gear configuration with stainless pivot pins, synthetic maintenance free bearings and laser profiled / pressed steel scissor blades. Electro hydraulic lift mechanism with armoured hydraulic pipe work and electrical harnesses.
Operation
Battery power is isolated via key type switch on near side of the sub-frame. Raise and lower control via pendant type push button arrangement mounted on driver’s seat base in cab. A self-locating hinged body prop is stowed in rubber mounts on the sub-frame at the near side.
Load Deck
Stitch welded assembly of pressed steel no visible outer surface welds are present. The entire assembly is phosphate dipped and painted for cavity and external surface protection.
Gantry & Headboard
Bolt together assembly of 1/4 tonne capacity. Highest possible standard of cab protection and load security. The headboard features recessed lashing points of 125kg capacity (1/2 tonne total) for securing loads against.
Sideboards
Double skinned 408mm (16") high, anodized aluminium with recessed fasteners and hinges. The hinges are of special design to prevent accidental disengagement, loss or injury.
Tailboard
Unique stainless steel double skinned construction 500mm (20") high.
